This Awards luncheon’s focus is to celebrate and honor early childhood teachers and professionals who educate, care and inspire children in Collier County, during their most formative years.
The Apple Blossom Awards honor early childhood teachers who educate and care for infants and young children in full-day, licensed childcare centers and homes in Collier County, and who are responsible for curriculum implementation and classroom management.Parents, caregivers, teachers, colleagues, directors, and former students nominate their favorite teacher. Nominations are limited to two teachers from each child care program, working in different classrooms.Former Apple Blossom "Teacher of the Year" recipients are not eligible.
All early childhood educators will be honored at the CCCR Apple Blossom Awards Luncheon on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at The Vineyards Country Club.The awards will consist of two categories, infant/toddler "Teacher of the Year" and preschool "Teacher of the Year."Both winners will receive an award and a monetary gift and will represent Collier County quality early childhood educators.The distinguished Apple Blossom candidates (all certified nominees) will receive a certificate and honorary recognition at the event.
